FAQ

How are credits billed?

They are converted from the upstream model list price and settled on the input and output tokens you actually use, so you pay for what you use. Every line item is listed in the Console.

What is the difference between plan credits and pack credits?

Plan credits are valid for the subscription period (31 days on monthly, 366 days on yearly); pack credits are valid for 12 months. Whichever credits expire first are spent first.

What is the difference between credits and machine hours?

Two meters, and neither borrows from the other. Credits pay for model calls and web search, drawn by token usage. Machine hours pay for the cloud workspace container, counted by the minute like CI build minutes. A long task that barely calls a model spends machine hours and no credits; running models on Desktop Harness spends credits and no machine hours.

What happens when machine hours run out?

The task in progress is not interrupted; the next one prompts you to upgrade. Move up a plan (each includes more machine hours), or switch to the desktop app, which runs on your own machine and uses no machine hours.
